Freedom24 card with a credit option backed by investments

Under Consideration Moralli Yoheved Matel ● 13 days ago

One feature I would really like to see on Freedom24 is a bank card that could be connected directly to our Freedom24 account.

It would already be useful to simply have a card to spend the cash available on the account.

But it could be even more interesting if customers with a sufficiently large investment portfolio could also have access to a credit limit based on their investments.

For example, if someone has €50,000 or €100,000 invested in stocks and ETFs, they could potentially use part of this amount as collateral and get a credit line without having to sell their investments.

Of course, the credit limit could depend on the type and value of the investments, with automatic adjustments if the portfolio falls.

I think this could make Freedom24 much more attractive. Instead of having investments on one side and a bank account/card somewhere else, everything could be managed from the same app.

For long-term investors, being able to access some liquidity without selling their investments would be a really useful feature.
